Sound Bodies: Nuit Blanche TO 2019
A Nuit Blanche Toronto 2019 installation conceived by Jonathan Tyrrell and Duncan Patterson. As part of 3B 570 elective.
Collaboration with James Kwon, Nick Lupescu, Ali Salama, Max Schramp, and Isabella Suppa
Sounding Bodies is a auditory visual exploration and installation meant to explore ones existence and place in the context of Canada and our connection with our histories and realities. As a team, we pushed the final development of the project, both conceptually and logistically. We worked in three parties, the physical embodiment, the auditory experience, and the visual presentation. In tangent we choreographed our envisioned narrative, inspired by Glenn Gould’s Idea of North. We worked within a short time span to allow Jonathan Tyrrell and Duncan Patterson’s visions to come to life. Personally, I focused on the construction and development of the physical forms  and materiality, logistics as well as the spatiality. The project presented at Toronto Nuit Blanche on October 5th was a success as countless visitors came through and experienced the sonic environment, after many tireless hours of mental and physical work.
