The Frame Residence: Show some personality! The residence is created by the nesting of spaces in which the process of students living is open to be seen, to generate interaction and a strong sense of community amongst the students.
By breaking down the walls of a traditional residence building, people are put on the forefront and are not hidden away. By being in a range of transparent and communal spaces, you’re given the opportunity to catch glimpses of student life all around you and invites you to participate.
Many of our decisions and actions are driven by our core personality needs. We seek out to fulfill these needs on a day to day, and how you prioritize those needs is a part of your personality. Knowing and understanding those who share similar priorities is a key part of human socialization, it aids in finding your sense of self, a sense of community, and a sense of being apart of a collective. The Frame Residence offers room types and loose programs that support each of the four core personality needs, offering a positive means of fulfillment. By seeing a variety of how people live, one can have a better understanding of the multiplicity of the student body to create a strong social collective.
